As a business consulting company, gathering research elements and data worldwide for others to use for free isn’t an easy task. That’s where our strategic partners come in to give us a helping hand to get more accurate information along with the contributions that make data gathering easier:
The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) is a GEDI strategic partner. GEDI is part of the GEN family of activities by producing the Global Entrepreneurship Index marketed by GEN. GEDI shared data with GEN on its country web pages and provides custom data for other GEN activities.
The Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) is a year-round platform of programs and initiatives to create one global entrepreneurial ecosystem. GEN helps people in 160 countries unleash their ideas, turn them into promising new ventures, create jobs, accelerate innovation, and strengthen economic stability worldwide. It supports the Global Entrepreneurship Research Network, Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Startup Nation Summit, and the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.
Ranging from efforts to inspire and educate nascent entrepreneurs to advancing research and connecting global leaders in person, GEN operates in all types of economies and cultures.
The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) provides the individual data for the Global Entrepreneurship Index. Dr. Acs has been involved with GEM for over a decade serving as a GERA board member for two years, Research Director for GEM, and a founding member of GEM Hungary. Dr. Acs has coauthored two GEM Global Reports, one on the United States and all Hungary GEM reports.
Through a vast, centrally coordinated, internationally executed data collection effort, GEM can provide high-quality information, comprehensive reports, and interesting stories, which greatly enhance the understanding of the entrepreneurial phenomenon – but it is more than that. It is also an ever-growing community of believers in the transformative benefits of entrepreneurship.
